NEW YORK, May 2 (UPI) — Journalists are being threatened and intimidated by elements of Uganda’s government trying to silence criticism, a human rights organization says.Journalists reporting critically about the government, presenting opposing views, or alleging wrongdoing, corruption or failure to investigate crimes face threats and, in some cases, criminal charges, Human Rights Watch alleged in a report released Sunday.
